You asked we listened!
The CRKT Pilar has been a firm favourite ever since it was launched and as soon as we saw it our thoughts immediately turned to how great it would be as a non-locking, UK friendly carry knife with, of course, the Heinnie® red G10 scales.
Fast forward to the present and here it is - the CRKT Pilar Heinnie Haynes® UK Edition! All the same features remain that made it such a popular knife in the first place; thick Wharncliff blade, generous thumb hole for opening, low carry pocket clip, perfect size for everyday use and exceptional Voxnaes design. This version is a non-locking slipjoint knife. It's extremely sharp, out of the box, with the red being a vibrant, bright red, perfectly offset with the shiny satin of the blade and metal hardware.

Really well made knife, fitted good with no rattling parts. Quite sharp (till I make it surgical sharp ]:>). The only downfall to me is the fact I can't move the clip to anywhere I want but I got used to Spydercos :pAll in all t knife meeting uk edc restrictions ?

This was a great product quite a chunky blade with buttery smooth opening and super sharp straight out of the box .feels good and comfortable in the hand in use ,the blade I liked looks non aggressive all topped off with the heinnie haynes red scales a winner in my book at a great price

this is the second heinnie red handle knife i have bought the first being the solis both for work mainly cutting cardboard and slicing straps off boxes, the solis is winning on edge retention however i can get the pilar sharp again with very little effort the choil can catch on straps the blade is more cleaver like than wharncliffe it's good at chopping small veg and herbs also surprisingly good at carving chunks out of a dry piece of apple branch solis is better at work for me but i could manage with this too

Came very dull on delivery with an unbalanced grind. Tried stropping but needed a full blast on a stone to put an edge on it and then a good strop.
