“I owe Richard an apology. Back in 2019, I dropped into the Heinnie Haynes warehouse to select a nice Bowie knife for myself. Richard recommended the buck 120 General, but I wasn't taken with the knife and ended up purchasing an Boker Arbolito El Gigante with ebony scales ( a beautiful knife BTW).... HOWEVER...... That Buck 120 stayed with me.... It niggled me that I hadn't given the knife the chance it deserved. Fast forward 5 years to October 2024, and I received the Buck 120 General for my birthday. I'm over the moon to report that the knife is absolutely fantastic. Super sharp out of the box, fit and finish perfect, sheath absolutely beautiful and very well made, and the knife itself beautiful yet functional. Suffice to say, Richard, you were spot on! :-)”
