The Buck 110 Folding Hunter - A traditional favourite!
Buck's Folding Hunter was created in 1963 when Al Buck decided that a revolutionary lockblade knife was needed by outdoorsmen who wanted a sturdy knife but did not want to carry a long fixed-blade knife. He was right and the result proved to be the key to the company's future. The challenge was to combine the strengths of other folding knives with locking mechanisms into a good-looking, reliable product. It wasn't easy, but after a series of refinements, the Model 110 was unveiled. Within six months, this innovation was the hottest knife in the industry.
The Folding Hunter, after over 50 years, is still one of America's best-selling knives and still made in the USA.

“I now see what all the fuss is about ! Having previously bought the 112 Buck Ranger (see my review), I had to buy the 110 Hunter also. The 110 is even better than the 112, if that is even possible. It is a proper chunky lump of a knife with a precision razor sharp blade. It fits my hand better than the 112, and feels better balanced. The 110 could be seen as a field butchers / food prep knife, rather than a rough 'n ready bushcraft knife. I am sure you could snap the fine tip off the blade by being an idiot with it. It is one heck of a knife that commands awe and respect; a real work of knife making art. Well worth £100 of anyone's money.”

“I have a 110 for the past 47 years and carried it almost everyday. It together with the original pouch are still going strong and will probably out live me. Hopefully I have many years to go but at 61 who knows.”

“Buck 110 is a classic. When I was about 13 (!) I bought a cheap knock-off from my local army surplus. It was smelly and rattled. I promised myself that one day I would get the real thing. The real thing is tight and sharp and a pleasure to own and use”

“Lost one of these as a teenager in the 80's and have owned a 112 and 102 for years but decided it was time to buy the 110 again after my 102 went in for warranty. Heinnie was excellent with there customer service again and the 110 is beautiful. Good strong knife with no defects and the leather sheath is a perfect match. Definitely recommend any buck knife and recommend heinnie to purchase from.”

“I'd seen this on Heinnie Haynes and also saw some write-ups, reviews and UTube clips regarding this knife.I don't think I saw a negative opinion about it.Referred to as an important piece of history in the knife fraternity.So I ordered one.It hasn't disappointed at all.It's a beautiful piece. It genuinely is a stunning knife with the brass inlays and the ebony handle. The blade is razor sharp.I know it's a tough bit of kit and will be hard-wearing but it's also a piece of art and craftsmanship.The leather sheath is another piece of great craft and art.Both look and feel awesome.I'm chuffed with this order. I'm so pleased I got it.People are right. It is a piece of history and should be part of a collection or part of your day to day kit. Both really.It's a must have.I haven't put it down.Heinnie Haynes are as they always are. Great customer service and care with a really fast delivery time schedule.”
