The BPS Finn Lite CSH is a take on the traditional Finnish knife. Historically, Finnish knives have been indispensable tools for hunting, fishing, and bushcraft, admired for their robust yet simplistic design. The Finn Lite retains these timeless qualities in a lightweight alternative.
The Finn Lite features a Full Tang blade crafted from carbon steel 1066. This steel is known for its excellent edge retention and ease of sharpening. The blade has a Scandi grind, which is renowned for its superior sharpness and ease of maintenance. This type of edge is particularly effective for wood carving and bushcraft tasks.
The handle is made from natural ash wood, which is treated with Danish oil to enhance its durability and resistance to moisture. With a length of 98 mm (3.9 inches), the handle offers a comfortable grip, making the knife easy to handle during prolonged use.
The knife comes with a leather sheath, providing excellent protection and carrying options.

“Excellent value. Ash, Carbon steel and leather make this a very nice tactile little knife. I apply a small amount of camellia oil to the blade handle and sheath, a fine stone and strop keeps the Scandinavian grind very sharp. What makes it special is it’s made in the Ukraine . PS - No complaints about the sheath and great service by HH.”

“My knife has just arrived via DHL next day delivery as promised. I must say what a great knife, it’s perfect, I like the use of Ash & leather with Carbon steel they make a nice combination for a modern yet traditional Scandinavian style knife. I have not used the knife yet, oiled the sheath with mink oil, applied some camellia oil to the blade and it’s good to go. The blade has a razor sharp scandi grind. Whats really nice is to be able support our friends in the Ukraine during difficult times. I suggest you buy one at £22.00 great value for money.”

“Great little bushcraft knife that is small, handy and shouldn't arise too much concern from anyone seeing it in use, as it doesn't look threatening like some outdoorsy knives. A real bargain at the price. The carbon steel blade was sharp out of the box but super easy to sharpen to a razor edge. It is robust enough to split some kindling and I used it at home to do this a few times over the Winter when we had a cold snap. The handle is small but comfortable and provides good control. I found that adding a simple home-made, woven lanyard made it feel even more secure, as it then fills the hand. The tang and handles are perfectly aligned on my example and it is well-finished, especially for the price. As supplied the sheath needs a bit of attention. The quality is fine but the leather seems rather flexible and thinner than on BPS' bigger knives, so I was concerned that the blade might puncture through it if it was pushed in while the sheath was flexed by mistake. I found that melting some beeswax and liberally brushing it over the outside and inside of the sheath to soak it, then letting it dry, made it far stiffer and more reassuring, so I now use it happily and haven't had any issues.”

“Another great knife from Bps , a compact full tang puukko , razer sharp ( as usual from Bps ) excellent little knife well except for the sheath , i think the sheath designer had a day off when they came up with this one, but don't let it put you off ( make your own) i have given it five stars it's for the knife not for the sheath , for £22.95 bargain”
