BPS Knives are a family run business based in Ukraine. They produce an impressive range of bushcraft and hunting knives that are made to be used in the outdoors. There are no unnecessary embellishments or decorations just supremely sharp blades and hard wearing handles!
The BPS Bushcraft Knife uses 5Cr14MoV stainless steel honed to an incredible edge with a traditional Scandi grind. The design is classic bushcraft, formed and balanced to be an all-rounder for skinning, fire and food prep and more.
The handle is made up of two slabs of walnut wood screwed firmly to the tang with a lanyard hole to make the knife your own. It is supplied with a very high quality leather belt sheath.
Now check out the price. This knife is a real bargain!

A nicely put together knife, that came razor sharp. It sits very comfortably in the hand & is well balanced. The sheath is also extremely good: good quality hand-made leather with a couple of attachment options. Extremely good value as well: I would have expected to pay the same price for the sheath on its own!

Good price for a full tang fixed blade but finish was poor. Rather dull on arrival with a poorly defined bevel - somewhere between a single scandi and a secondary bevel. Handle although comfortable was not well made with one side not matching the metal tang so sticking out slightly. Perhaps everything going on in Ukraine has meant the quality has taken a bit of a hit or I may have just been unlucky.

So it's a budgert Woodlore style bushcrafter. Some unfinished details and the sheath is universal to BPS knives.Don't let this distract you from the perfect ergonomic shape, awesome blade quality and a very nice solid leather sheath. At a tad over 40 quid, amazing value. . As you might gather, I'm taken by the whole BPS thing. Now have 3 of their knives, each one made solid an functional but sensibility priced. Just Brilliant

Just received my knife and what a fantastic knife for the price the blade is sharp straight out of the box no need to hone it at all it is well balanced the wooden handle is comfortable in the hand and provides a secure grip the leather sheath is well made and looks to be of quality and is a good fit for the knife all in all I don't think you can go wrong with this I would recommend if you are in the market you get one new as I am sure the price will only go up and as normal heinnie shipping fast and efficient no problem

so happy to see heinnie selling the bps knives,i have had the bushcraft knife for a while and can tell you all its money well spent...yes the blade shape is similar to a few other blades on the market but at the price it is at its a steal....the quality of the sheath is probably worth the price paid...hoping for more of bps's items to be added to the store

As some of the other reviews have noted the finish is a little sloppy but nothing that can't be easily resolved. Very solid knife, nice and sharp with nice looking handle scales (needs a little finishing and maybe oiling) also comes with a great well fitting sheath, all for just under £40. Excellent value for money

The (well-made, sturdy and thick) sheath must be worth the asking price of £40 alone, essentially you're getting a free knife alongside it.Good points:Allen handle, so can easily be replaced & customised. Will need to be if you have large hands, as the handle is a little on the slimmer side compared to other bushcraft knives I own. Bad points:The knife did not arrive shaving sharp - nothing a good strop couldn't solve. The spine of the knife was not at a 90 degree angle so didn't work great with a fire steel - had to sharpen the spine myself! This knife (handle & blade) are a little on the thin side.. But have no doubt if you look after this knife it'll last for years. Like I said, you're buying a quality sheath and getting a decent knife for free. Talking of which, holds the knife perfectly. No chance of the knife falling out. Very happy with this purchase even though I had to refine the knife a little.
