“This is a really good,go anywhere,do anything knife. Made of high quality spring steel and comes sharp out of the box with a really good hard plastic sheath. This knife is a real tool at a very reasonable price.”

“I have owned 3 of these Glock field knives (years ago) ... remember them being excellent, sheath design is pretty much perfect and they were razor sharp. So pleased to get a new one, ... am happy with it, But quality of the edge is not what it was ... this one is not only blunt but needs to be re-profiled as its only sharped on one side, I thought i must have a defective one but other reviews echo mine. Still a bargain for the price thou ... and i would still recommend, just expect to do some sharpening before you use it (maybe buy a diamond sharpening rod to go with it) Once you have an edge it holds it well.”

“I have had one of these since the 1980s, but I gave it to my dad for his bayonet collection (it is also a bayonet if you didn't know). I found I missed it, and as they are well priced I bought another from Heinnie. It's a good sturdy practical military knife. It is both usbale and collectable, It is better as a filed knife (as it was deigned) than as a bushcraft or camp knife, but it will do it. It's rough and tough, don't expect it to have eternal edge rettenion, but don't expect it to chip either.”
