The Boker Plus Sprocket, designed by Henning Marxen is quite literally a folding knife with a twist. This unique knife pairs clean lines and minimalist design with a new and creative opening mechanism. Embodying the synergy of gears in a well-oiled machine, the Sprocket opens on two neatly crafted quarter cogs shaped into the base of the blade and the G10 handle.
Crafted with a D2 cleaver shaped blade sporting a puristic stonewash finish, the Sprocket offers smooth opening, facilitated by a large thumb hole. The creative detent-slipjoint mechanism makes this a UK legal carry that has a firm and tactile 'click' in and out of the open position without locking.
The Sprocket's most striking attribute is its double-joint design with a two-piece handle. This unique construction allows the blade to fold perfectly in on itself, transforming the chunky cleaver shaped blade into a compact and portable carry.

Just took delivery of this so it may be a little early to comment. It's built like a tank though, has near flawless build quality and is exceptionally fun to fiddle with trying all the different ways to open it. One thing to bare in mind is that it is next to impossible to open this knife one handed if you're using your left hand. It's very small when folded, however once opened it is surprisingly comfortable in the hand fitting my large hands completely. There is absolutely no way this is going to close up on your fingers in use and with it being D2 and chisel ground, you could get some serious work done with this knife. I'd say this alongside my most satisfying knife purchase for a while alongside my ukpk salt. For the price, you really can't go wrong with this one ?

I'm a collector of small pocket tools and knives especially the unusual and this fits the bill, nice looking and strong. I only rated it 4 as I would have preffered it to be a little smaller.
