“My boys loved their Hedkayse head guards initially, the only issue though, a fairly major one, is that the Velcro chin strap is quite weak and regularly comes off during games/training. I’ve ensured the Velcro is clean but it just doesn’t stick very well and we’ve nearly lost the strap completely on more than one occasion. Quite embarrassing for a £100 product and I certainly couldn’t recommend it over the competition. A fixed chin strap with higher cohesive property is essential to make this product worth considering. EDIT: Hedkayse have very quickly offered an improved strap with better Velcro, yet to receive it but only received the notification today. Can’t fault the customer service though. Will update when the new strap has been tried out.”
