“Used on 2 terriers for 2 months in a high tick area with minimal effect. I purchased this after reading scientific studies on the effectiveness of Geraniol on tick prevention. The only time I didn't find ticks were within days 2-5 after application. The rest of the time I removed up to 3 (dog, deer & hedgehog) ticks per day plus if lucky enough to spot, small larvae ticks. If I didn't live in a high tick area and walked occasionally in areas with ticks I would use this but for day to day prevention it is not effective.”

Hi there. Many thanks for leaving this review, although sorry to hear this. I must confess we are hearing a lot of issues with ticks this year. I believe that ticks are going to be a significant problem in 2026. We also sell a spray product called Tickshield as I understand that ticks do not like the smell of Cedarwood. This product is for larger dogs over 9kg. Natural Enzymes also make a product called Cedarcide. I hope you find a satisfactory solution this year. If we can help further feel free to contact us. “Leaves coats along spine Horribly oily doesn't kill fleas just repels them. There are alot less messy ways to repel fleas. Used once and straight in the bin”

Hi Sue. I am sorry to hear that this product is oily and hasnt killed the fleas. These products are flea repellents and work differently to the chemical treatments that you can buy. Also when it comes to fleas it is important to break the life cycle as flea larvae can lie dormant and it can take a comprehensive approach to get rid of the fleas.
