Mixed with a little vegetable oil to coat his meal and it’s all eaten up. Seems to have reduced his scooting behaviour to almost nil, so must be helping. I recommend it for your dog too.

Jack has a big anal gland problem, for no apparent reason every now and again he will have a bout of depositing everywhere several times a day. After 3 days of this he improved for a week, and it certainly firmed up his stools, but then his anal glands set off again. We are trying some more to see if continued use will settle him down. It certainly helped but we need more testing to see how much. I would like to know if this can be used daily continuously, but I can't find this information.

Not very easy to mix into our dogs raw food, had to add water which made it into a bit of a mess - although our dog still ate it. Didn’t do much for stools, no change so not really sure if it works. Now trying wheat bran from a health store which mixes so much better.

Thanks Kay for this review. I am sorry to hear about some of the issues you are having. You could increase the amount you are giving slightly. I wouldn't give Wheat Bran as this is a gluten grain which is an allergen. I will email you separately with some further information. Regards Kay

Brought this for my raw fed dog whom gets a little ‘loose’ when he has pizzle sticks (but loves them) . I just add one teaspoon to his morning and evening feeds on the one day a week he gets a pizzle stick and we now avoid the ‘unpickupable’ poops the next day. He doesn’t seemed bothered about it in his food either which is good.

My dog Milo appeared to have a slight problem with his anal glands after changing to a raw diet. I tried Stoolrite to increase the bulk of his stools and it appears to have worked. Milo also likes the taste and licks his bowl out clean every day!
