“I've used this on several occasions, always works well to get my dog's digestive issues sorted out, especially after anti-biotics, It's a good combination of probiotics for dogs.”

“I had to give it one star as I couldn't submit it without. In fact I give this Zero stars .......Gave this product to my springer spaniel, carefully following instructions on the pack. Unfortunately it gave her liquid diarrhoea. Having spent £55 on this and another product ( Riaflex canine joint plus for dogs) I was very disappointed to hear that a refund was out of the question from healthfulpets. If the packet is open it can't be returned. How am I supposed to try it without opening it!!! I won't be gambling my money on such purchases in future. I might as well have thrown that cash straight in the bin.”

Hi Helen. We were very sorry to hear this when you made contact with us. We did try and work with you and offered you a goodwill gesture. With some pets you need to introduce a new product very slowly, as some are more sensitive than others. This is certainly an unusual reaction to the probiotics and we haven't had this reported to us before. That said, every animal is different and some can be very sensitive. We were also sorry to hear that the Riaflex Joint Plus wasn't suitable either. In the past, this may have been caused by the ingredient glucosamine which is from shellfish (some dogs do have a shellfish allergy), but this product is no longer contains any shellfish. We are very sorry when this happens, but we are unable to offer a refund on opened products. We do try and work with customers to understand the issue and if necessary take guidance from the suppliers. In addition, we will also share any tips and guidance, that we pick up from customers on the website. For example, some cats can be extremely fussy and may not want to take certain supplements. If this is the case, we would flag this up on the website, so customers are aware. And ultimately we would discontinue any product that wasn't being tolerated. Some customers call us up to ask for samples and if we can supply these we will; or seek advice from the supplier themselves. So very sorry to hear that we haven't been able to make this right for you. Regards Kay
