Hello Dawn Thank you for your feedback. The cause of itching and biting is a complex issue, as every pet is different and there are numerous reasons why this may occur. General overall health and age can also play a part. Diet, stress, seasonal environmental factors, mites, include just some of the reasons why this may occur. It is important however that the root cause is also identified and eliminated. Consider diet and existing treats, allergies to foods and avoid high sugar foods, this can include some vegetables. “I’ve given the product 3 stars as I think it may have been helpful as a probiotic. However, my dog really wasn’t keen on it and refused to eat meals with it in after the first few. He is a really fussy dog despite being a Labrador so wouldn’t take this as a negative for other less picky eaters. My biggest frustration was the lack of dosing spoon/scoop to know that I would definitely be giving the right amount. It may not be viable but the ability to purchase a much smaller quantity as a palatability sample would be helpful for those of us with fussy feeders!”

“I purchased FLR protect for my 10 year old Boston Terrier. She had repeat colitis with blood in poo and lots of pain. PROTECT combined with a single protein diet has helped greatly. She still has a sensitive tummy, but recovers quickly from any upset tum (toddler grandchild with dropped snacks) and very rarely has pain. Highly recommend these probiotics!”
