APPLICATION: It is suggested applying Snout Soother as often as possible for the first few days of use, but recommend a minimum of 2-3 times during this period. Applying at night is also a good time to apply Snout Soother. Snout Soother works FAST.
As a sunscreen, Snout Soother has an estimated equivalent SPF 9 and is best to be applied just before your dog is exposed to the sun. This should last 12 hours but there is no harm reapplying the balm more frequently. As these products are 100% natural and organic, there is no adverse affects applying several times per day for added protection, if worried.
DISTRACTION: Distractions are key! Using treats (peanut butter works great!), applying right before mealtime, or following with a belly rub are great distractions to allow time for the product to work it's magic!
WHAT IF MY DOG LICKS IT OFF?: Natural Dog Company products are 100% natural, safe and edible and their products will still work even if most of it is licked off.; although, for best results it is advised to use distractions for a few minutes until the carrier oils have had a chance to work their magic.
HOW SOON SHOULD I SEE RESULTS? This is hard to say as it varies greatly depending on the initial condition and frequency of use. Many customers see results within the first week, while others may take longer. It is important to apply multiple times daily and try to distract your dog from licking in order to get the best results.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I APPLY WRINKLE BALM? It is recommended applying at least 2-3 time a day. Frequent application is important. Be sure to really get in between the skin folds and apply to the entire area.
