DIRECTIONS: If dirt or debris are in evidence, cleanse area if possible before application. Use two fingers to scoop a small amount and gently apply to affected area. Or, for no mess application, use a small beauty pad or low-absorbant cloth. Apply one to three times daily. Frequent application to open wounds is important to protect against infections and to kill any existing bacteria. Be sure to generously apply, covering the entire area. Decrease use with improvement.
DISTRACTION: Distractions are key! Using treats (peanut butter works great!), applying right before mealtime, or following with a belly rub are great distractions to allow time for the product to work it's magic!
WHAT IF MY DOG LICKS IT OFF?: Natural Dog Company products are 100% natural, safe and edible and their products will still work even if most of it is licked off.; although, for best results it is advised to use distractions for a few minutes until the carrier oils have had a chance to work their magic.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I APPLY SKIN SOOTHER? It is recommended applying at least 1-3x daily. Frequent application to open wounds is important to protect against infections and to kill any existing harmful bacteria. Be sure to generously, covering the entire area. Decrease use with improvement.
HOW SOON SHOULD I SEE RESULTS? This is hard to say as it varies greatly depending on the initial condition and frequency of use. Many customers see incredible results within the first week, while others may take longer. It is important to apply multiple times daily and try to distract your dog from licking in order to get the best results. Wounds have been proven to heal much faster with use of Skin Soother than those without.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SKIN SOOTHER AND WRINKLE BALM? While Skin Soother and Wrinkle Balm both have similar qualities, Skin Soother has a higher concentration of essential oils and is a more powerful formula. Because of this high concentration, it is NOT recommended for sensitive tissues, such as around the face and eyes. Wrinkle Balm is a milder formula and better suited for those areas. In similar instances, if there are problematic areas that are not being resolved completely with Wrinkle Balm, it may be necessary to use Skin Soother due to the more powerful formula.

We have a 5 year old pug who had itching skin on his wrinkles under his chin. Due to itching he lost a lot of fur on his chest. This skin soother has done wonders. It has made his skin more supple and less dry, he is not itching as much and his fur is growing back to normal. Have been using 1-2x daily for past 2 and half months. Patience needed but results are brilliant.
