Directions for Use

Shake bottle.
Wet your dog with warm water from head to the end of their tail.
Apply a small amount of concentrated 4-Legger to the palm of your hand and apply to your pet. While the consistency is thin, you will find that you need only a small amount to cover your dog.
Gently massage 4-Legger deeply into your pet's coat.
Rinse thoroughly until water runs clear.

A few tips if you are new to organic dog shampoo:

Your dog will likely go through a perfectly normal transition period. Don't worry!
To increase the lather, use more water - not shampoo.
Consider adding a foamer bottle! It will help you manage the thin consistency by infusing air into the shampoo, as well as keep you from using more than is needed to wash your dog.
Note: Keep out of your pet's eyes. To wash your pet's face - use a wash cloth.

“This is like water, awful shampoo and I usually love the smell of lemongrass but this smells like mouldy lemongrass. Pity you can't add videos to the reviews as filmed how runny it is. I feel robbed, £19.99 for a product that went in the bin.”

Hi Jo, Thank you for your review, and I’m sorry to hear that you haven’t been satisfied with your 4-Legger shampoo. 4-Legger shampoos are the gold standard in organic, natural shampoos for pets, and they work very differently to traditional pet shampoos. Because 4-Legger are certified organic, they do not use the synthetic thickeners found in traditional pet grooming products. These thickeners can have links to allergies and dry, itchy skin, amongst other issues. As a result of this, organic dog shampoos are generally thin but very concentrated. We understand that this might not be what customers are expecting, which is why we have written a blog explaining all about transitioning over to organic shampoo which we link to on the product page, to hopefully support customers who are making the switch. We have also highlighted in the product description that the consistency is different, and customers may want to purchase a sample before committing to a big bottle. 4-Legger also offer a foamer bottle, which infuses air into the liquid shampoo to form a shaving foam-type cream. Some customers find this easier to work with, particularly while they transition over to natural shampoo. I’m sorry that you didn’t like the smell of this shampoo, the addition of the hemp may not have been to your taste. You may get on better with one of the other scents in the range, or we do offer an unscented aloe vera and coconut oil option. Alternatively, we do stock a range of excellent quality, more traditional shampoos, such as Wildwash. These shampoos are a great option for pet owners who still want natural ingredients while retaining the feel of a traditional shampoo. I'm sorry that you felt that you had to bin your shampoo, it's a shame you didn't reach out before this. “smells lovely,great for my little dog ,organic ingredients,use this alongside the restore conditioner and deodorising spray (lemongrass)as it’s a natural flea deterrent and great for my dogs skin which helps with yeast ,dryness.Best shampoo/conditioner/spray for my dog,wouldn’t be without them.⭐️⭐️⭐️”
