Beco rope toys are made with natural hemp which is a very eco material as no pesticides are used in the growing process. Most importantly though it's better for your dog as unlike cotton and synthethic ropes it has very short fibres which are more easiliy digestible. This means that if a piece of rope is swallowed it is much more likely to pass through the dogs body without causing problems.
Small has a rope thickness of 1.1 cm and is suitable for breeds such as the Chichahua and dachshund
Medium has a rope thickness of 1.5 cm and is suitable for breeds such as the Terrier and Cocker Spaniel
Large has a rope thickness of 2 cm and is suitable for breeds such as the Labrador and Alsatian
