I have used this type of muscle on three equines and they all tolerate it very well. I have found that when they are new they rub so I always use sheepskin covers on the straps, but this downside is outweighed by the fact that the horses and ponies are happy to have them put on, and it does slow down their eating. They are still able to eat from a haynet as well as grass so suit my way of keeping the horses on a track with hay feeding stations very well

Easy for me to put on and take off, and doesn’t come off in the field. The horses don’t seem to mind wearing them either, plenty of ventilation in this warm weather.

Fabulous product that Stanley can’t remove even doing a handstand

Very pleased with this muzzle. Was concerned pony would manage to take it off (she always removes her head collar!) but 2 weeks in she hasn’t succeeded yet. She seems happy to have it put it on and there is no sign of any rubbing - I did buy the wool chin pad to go with it. Most importantly she seems to have started to lose some weight but is still able to go out in the field with her friends.

Very pleased with this item. I have a pony who continuously either escapes from her muzzle, destroys it, or the muzzle does not fit her and rubs her poor little chin. This is the first muzzle that fits her well, that she cannot get out of and does the job it is supposed to do! Will be buying another one for if and when this one needs replacing.

This was the second grazing muzzle we tried on my daughters cob. The previous one, a different brand, would come off quite easily through the pony hooking it onto a fence or branch. This one has yet to come off even though she has tried ! Its sturdy, strong and although she is frustrated she cant get as much grass it clearly does the job !
