“I was very disappointed with the fit of the neck cover. The main body of the rug fitted my horse well and was a good shape, but the neck cover was completely different. Even with the fastenings adjusted to their tightest setting, the two edges of the neck cover do not meet, leaving a very large gap underneath the neck. I find it difficult to understand how this could be considered a good fit, as the gap is so substantial that it would allow flies to get underneath the neck cover, which defeats the purpose of having the additional coverage. This isn’t a case of the neck cover simply being slightly loose or not fitting my particular horse — the edges don’t come close to meeting at all. I contacted customer services about this, but was told that they did not consider there to be a manufacturing issue. I was disappointed by this, as I would have expected a fly rug neck cover to provide continuous coverage around the neck. Although the body of the rug is a good fit, the neck cover is a major flaw for me and I would not purchase this rug again.”

“These cime up a little bit big. My horse is usually 6'9". Super rug. Perfect for mild showery days. My boy does not like getting wet but is perfectly happy grazing in the middle of the field on rainy days in this rug.”

“Brilliant rug for those wider types! My mate struggles with room for her shoulders in most rugs. The only ones I found to fit her are the Masta Fieldmasta with the double gusset. But that one doesn’t come as a waterproof fly rug. So I gave the turnout Masta a try and it works really well! It’s well proportioned, the usual high quality that you’d expect from Masta and all round a fab rug. The only feedback I’d have would be for the neck to be longer as it slides back when she’s grazing.”

“The TurnoutMasta range is a really good fit for my cob. This is a nice rug - looks like good protection on the waterproof part with nice air movement further down. Haven’t had it very long yet but so far it looks super.”
