“Not waterproof!!!!!!!! But sent indoor rug I only know this as my other horse has one but as many rugs that say waterproof are not really only very light shower proof once heavy rain let water in!!!!!!!!!”

Breathable mesh on the lower section of the rug helps keep your horse cool and acts as a barrier from flies and insects. The lower mesh section helps protect against harmful UV rays with a UPF rating of 18". The image and description shows only the upper top line of the rug is waterproof and attached to a mesh fabric. So rain will pass through the mesh section of the rug and expose your horse to the elements.
