“I brought myself a pair of these in March, loved them, very comfy, so I ordered my friend a pair the other day as she asked me which boots I recommended. She is very happy with hers. But was very disappointed the other day as I trod on a thorn and it’s gone on the way through the sole of my boots. So now I’m not very happy, I thought being the tough rubber that they are made of this won’t have happened. Gutted as they are very comfy and I’ve hardly worn them as brought them in March so didn’t wear over the summer! So now I’m gonna get a wet foot over the winter as can’t afford another pair, was really hoping these would last me a good few winters”

“In common with some other reviewers, this is my second pair of Caldene Westfield, but this latest "model" has a longer and wider leg than previously . As I am only 5ft 2" tall this means they are almost up to my knees and are really too wide now. The side fasteners don't stay fastened , but they didn't on my original pair. Still good value for money and hardwearing, but I wish they hadn't messed with the design!”
