“The turf has now been down for about 7 months, so the overall long-term quality is fully evident. I wasn't particularly happy with the patches of clay evident on the undersides of the turfs and this has made itself known by leaving an uneven finish, despite the preparation being meticulous. Worse still, the original seed cannot have been mixed well, as the different varieties of grasses have grwon in patches, leaving dark and light shading, as well as variations in growth rates. It only looks remotely acceptable immediately after cutting. The most awful part, though, is the weeds. I had dug away about 8" of previous topsoil and methodically removed every dandelion tap root possible. However, this turf was bought and laid in autumn and clearly was infested with dandelion seeds as they are absolutely everywhere! Given the preparation and the time of laying, it is highly unlikely that the dandelions were present or arrived in the spring. They could have only come with the turf. Given that this is a more expensive turf, it is dreadful.”

“Delivered next day before midday. Delivery driver left as close to garden as possible. Very polite and friendly chap. I laid it almost immediately. All turf was fine 2 were ripped. But no big bother. Will definitely buy again.”
