“These poles are the first I have ever bought, and initial trials out on the Pennine Way went really well. I'm not an expert user yet, but have no doubts these are going to be super-useful on race day. Lightweight, comparable to others I've seen in terms of materials, functionality, and price, and importantly for me, are from a UK company who are trying to do the right thing by runners and customers.”

“Once I went through Harrier’s instructional modules about the proper use of poles, I feel the pro carbon Z poles are a great option for a beginner ultra runner looking to save weight but not totally break the bank. They are very light and easy to deploy and break down. I am still learning how to carry them while not in use in a way that doesn’t rub (I have a Solomon Adv Skin 8 run vest with elastic loops hanging at the bottom to hold poles). I’d rather not have the quiver over top of my vest’s back pockets but I may try it. The strap material is soft but I wonder how my hands/wrists will do for an upcoming 17hr Everesting challenge. This company seems to be one of the good ones. Small business with passionate people, attentive and generous customer service, and reasonable direct-to-consumer prices. Zero complaints!”
