“Never having used running roles before, I bought Harrier Helvellyn Pro for use in the Centurion Wendover Woods 50 mile event. Great value, swift delivery and a brilliant online tutorial to learn how to use them. Excellent design, lightweight and easy to assemble, take apart and carry, they worked brilliantly. They got me through a challenging course with lots of runnable flats between short steep hills, so carrying the light poles or folding them away was a frequent requirement. Highly recommended. Thanks Harrier!”

“I seem to have bought some very good quality poles for not much money. You get your first impression from the packaging. A re-closeable cardboard box contains a heavy duty cloth bag (with drawstring closure and a carrying strap). The poles are in a resealable plastic bag with cardboard tubes and reuseable velcro straps to stop them from scuffing one another in transit. The poles are beautiful - lovely crisp graphics, nicely sculpet grips, a very clever strap system and an ingenious and quick to use mechanism to extend and close the poles. They grips feel good in the hand and the straps are solid once adjusted for length. There's a really grippy boot for tarmac work that covers a metal spiked end for soft ground. Tme will tell how they perform on the trail but, from a short test run, I foresee no problem in extending or stowing them and they feel light and balanced in the hand. The grips and straps don't give the impression that they'll chage or give me blisters when hands are sweaty or wet. I'm really pleased with my purchase, pleased to own a Harrier product and I'm looking forward to many miles of use from my poles.”

“Helvellyn PRO Carbon Z-Poles V2. Came though with top broken on one pole. Had to order another pair. All were sent very quickly. Returned broken and had quick refund. Having not used poles before, practiced with them for 2 short runs and then did 100k Cotswold Ultra. They were fantastic. They helped take the load off injured leg and contributed massively to my finish.”
