“I've never run in waterproof trousers and ahead of my first race, I tried them at this weekends parkrun. I'm not sure if other waterproofs are like this, but if just felt I was wearing tracksuit bottoms. I was expecting them to me "clumsy", but I actually liked running in them. I was dreading having to run on waterproofs in the Cairngorms, but I can park that fear straight away. For the value and weight, I would challenge anyone to come up with a better option for your mandatory gear check list.”
