“I waited to write this until I’d had a chance to really use my trousers in different conditions and am writing now because I want to say thank you! The best thing about these trousers is their versatility. They are light and pack down small. I’ve have worn them in rain and they basically did the job as outer trousers, but they came into their own this weekend in the Cairngorms when I had a problem with the trousers I had planned to wear underneath. Because these ones are light and soft lined, I could switch to using them as my base trousers and wear really heavy duty wind/waterproof trousers on top. Just brilliant piece of kit and they absolutely saved the day for me! On top of that, customer service was fab! I ordered extra small but when they arrived decided I wanted to go slightly bigger. I reordered and returned and the process was totally painless. As I said: ‘Thank you!’”

“I’ve bought the Dartmoor waterproof trousers in preparation for an upcoming ultra and was so impressed, as well as being super comfy they are also very easy to get on and off over my clothing and keep me perfectly dry and warm. Would highly recommend them!”

“Discreet in the best way - quiet and comfortable with no annoying swishing sound - so easy to run in. The zips come almost to the knee so possible to put on or take off with shoes or boots on - though hard to avoid getting a bit muddy. I'm 5'7" and size 8-10 and the Small is a great fit and length. I have not tried them in a lengthy downpour yet but they have been fine through all day drizzle and warm on a very cold windy day.”

“Not used in anger yet, but not expecting any problems from that. Close enough fitting to not be baggy but be comfortable over leggings or shorts. The leg is probably designed to be short so as to not get in the way while running, but that does feel a little odd when wearing them for hiking use. For context, I am 6 foot slim build with fairly long legs and have a size small - great fit but I would prefer another inch on the leg. Very light weight and folds down easily to go into a backpack.”

“I'm delighted with these trousers. I wore them during heavy rain, running through snow, slush and mud. They were very comfortable, kept me dry but not too warm, and IMO offer excellent value for money.”

“These trousers are a great fit and soft to touch, which is a surprise for waterproofing clothing. The zips at the bottom make taking them on and off so easy compared to others I have tried. Definitely recommend.”

“Great trousers - love that they don't rustle and that they feel like proper fabric rather than plastic. I'm a size 10-12 and the small fitted perfectly. Long in the leg, but them I'm short so I won't complain about that at all!”
