“I recently purchased an Exmoor Waterproof Jacket from Harrier Trail Running to be used as part of my mandatory kit for a 100 mile ultra marathon. The jacket proved to be worth it's weight in gold when I was running through the night. I was able to wear it over several layers including my running vest and can honestly say that without the jacket it would have been very unlikely I would have completed the race. The quality of the jacket is second to none and was light enough to carry it in my race vest during the day. It also has plenty of pockets for storage. I feel confident that the jacket will perform as intended for many years to come.”

“My first impression was that the colour is a lovely vibrant red. The fit is perfect, I am generally a medium in clothes but the size chart suggested that large would be appropriate and this is certainly the case. The website advised that it would be best used with a long sleeved base layer and I agree with this as the lining feels cold against bare arms (when first put on wearing a short sleeved T-shirt). I did a lot of research on the internet before deciding on this jacket, it is of excellent quality and has many of the features found on top-end garments from other manufacturers but at a price where I felt that I was getting good value for money.”

“A quality jacket that with a few improvements would be best class. Plus points; longer length at the back, elasticated cuffs, thumb loops, breathable, waterproof so far in a shower (not tested in heavy rain), hood is adjustable, like the good front pockets. Improvement points; because of the angled zip on the front, when open slightly it creates a huge flap of material that bounces around - either make the main zip central, or add a press studs so it can be fastened down. No need for the additional chest zip - feels like too many zips ! Have the pit zips under your actual arms they are positioned around the kidneys so really bizarre”
