Got the 5l curbar vest. Only used once so far but it is very comfy and easily tweaked. No rubbing on neck like other vests I have tried

Great fit and still finding new pockets a day later. I need to store poles in front as my dexterity prevents me reaching far enough behind my back but will take vest off to store them on back when don’t need for a while; only takes a minute so no problem and can do while still moving. Really glad I bought it as a replacement for a Salomon model that really only held water bottles. I’m glad I bought Harrier bottles rather than using my Salomon bottles as they are far superior. Takes my iPhone 12 Pro plus, without case, in phone pocket.

Bought at the last moment for a 26 mile walk. Used with a two litre hydration bladder I already had. The vest was super comfortable and held bits and pieces very neatly - I used one of the water bottle pockets for my iPhone, and the other one for a Decathlon 250ml bottle. The only caveat was that I carefully put my car keys in a zipped pocket without realising there was another, open, zip at the other end. Fortunately the keys stayed in! There are so many pockets and I think I’d only end up using about half of them.

New to running but I’ve had a couple of race vests and this is the best one. Did my 1st 10k run and it was great held in place all the way round. Nice and comfortable, great fit.

Fit: same as sports t-shirts, a medium is a medium. (My chest is around 39.5”) Very comfortable, I’ve had no chafing on training runs in various weather up to an hour so far. Pockets, zippers and straps are all easy to use while on the move and appear durable. Water, phone, snacks, kerchiefs are held snug on the front and under the arms, and jacket, first aid kit and headlamp are secure and don’t bounce in the back, with plenty of room for more. Rapidly becoming an essential on all of my trail runs!

Looking to buy a running vest for my first trail marathon, I researched the market extensively and tried out my friend's Salomon adv skin 5 (the one that seems to come up in all the searches) to see how it felt. Although comfortable, the Salomon seemed flimsy for the price and didn't have many storage options. After watching the videos (including Run4Adventure) and reading all the positive reviews on the Curbar 5L I placed an order. It had its first outing on a 15 miler up to Back Tor and along Derwent Edge at the weekend.. home turf for the Harrier Brand :) It really didn't disappoint!! Extremely comfortable with lots of storage options (took gels, 2 flasks, airpods, 5 gels, car key) and the harrier hydration flasks worked a treat, once I got the knack of using them. My biggest concern was overheating in the pack (there is a lot more to it than the Salomon) but I needn't have worried, I kept cool throughout my run. I am so happy I chose to support Harrier over the larger well known brands. For me personally the Curbar 5L is a far superior vest and I'm confident it will see me through many trail marathons.
