This is my first vest after using a bum bag for years so it’s taken a little getting used to but I’m enjoying the ability to carry more water and having a free pelvis. The vest feels a bit thick and hot during the recent heatwave but it won’t be an issue when the temperatures drop. I find the zipped pockets a bit fiddly, especially as I like to take photos during my runs so I tend to just keep my phone in one of the lower stuff pockets but I appreciate them for my key (didn’t bother with the clip at the back). Getting the soft bottles in place can also be fiddly with some jiggling required but thankfully everything is stretchy which makes things easier. I find unscrewing the soft bottles awkward especially when they’re empty and almost vacuum sealed so I blow air back in to be able to grip the soft side of the screw, the straw side is nice and easy to grip. I found a bit of bounce initially even with the chest straps nice and snug so I crossed them over which seems to help. The materials are soft and stretchy so I haven’t had any chafing issues so far. Overall I find it thoughtfully designed and adaptable. So far it seems sturdy and well made and the price seems very reasonable. I like that it’s a UK based company but it’s a shame the manufacturing is in China (I guess that’s how they keep the price down)

I was recommended this Harrier Vest by a fellow runner as mine chafed me on long runs, sizing is spot on best thing was absolutely no chafing , plenty of pockets to stash all you need . Love it

Believe the hype, Harrier products are exceptional! I bought the Curbar 5L vest especially for my 16km this weekend, and it didn't disappoint. The pockets at the front are amazing and can store so much, I was able to fit all the kit I wanted in my pack and still have loads of room. The mesh meant I didn't feel overheated in 20 plus degrees, and I didn't even feel like I was wearing a vest it was so light and soft but also tight and supportive. Despite wearing no sleeves I had no rubbing or chafing.

So far so good, have only used on one long run to date and it felt very comfortable. Plenty of pockets, fits well, though I think a size smaller could have been even better for me in hindsight. I'm a size 8 with small bust, so XXS probably would be ideal. All round great value and very happy with my purchase.

I purchased the Curbar 5l race vest and it’s great. It has lots of storage and is very comfortable to run in. I initially ordered a size too big and Harrier provided excellent customer service and advice in exchanging my vest for the correct size. (They are true to size so don’t size up like I initially did).

fits well, breathable, comfy, well-made and a fraction of the price of more 'popular' ones. No bounce, fits a surprising amount in and everything is secure as the pockets are stretchy. MORE IMPORTANTLY customer service was fantastic. Unsure of sizes and Rachel over emails was so attentive and helpful.

I am not a trail runner, much more a 10k road runner, but was struggling to carry a phone, keys, tissues , water etc. So I bought the Curbar 5l vest. I am a size 8 and bought the xs. I am absolutely delighted with it. It fits really well and is so well designed with space for everything that a long distance trail runner would need, but is also a really good investment for those of us running shorter distances. I would highly recommend it.

I have only worn my Curbar vest on 1 trail run so far, but, I am already very impressed! It is so incredibly comfortable, it didn't move at all (so zero chafing) and it has plenty of room for storage and so many pockets!! I fit 2 x 500ml soft water bottles in the front pockets and my phone (Google pixel 8 pro) also fit in the second pocket in front of the water bottle. I've been that initially impressed, I recommend it to my friend who went and bought the same vest. Thank you so much!
