“I bought the Kinder 10L Race Vest in XL for my first ultra and have completed several 10K runs so far. It fits like a glove, the easily adjustable chest straps are brilliant, and the strapping ensures no bounce when I'm running. A substantial bit of kit. A couple of minor gripes: the bottom, side zip pockets are quite small and difficult to get your hands in. The capacity could be slightly more, say 12-15L, to more easily contain all the minimum kit for ultras. And the front pocket could be a little wider to accommodate larger phones in their cases.”

“I'm going to be honest, I'm a big guy (6ft 4in 115kg) and fancied a race vest. So I did some research and found that Harrier had good reviews by the larger clientele. I opted for the Kinder 10L, I'm not a racer or a huge long distance runner but wanted something comfortable to wear that can carry as much or as little as I need for my runs (slow plod). The Kinder has satisfied all my needs. The main thing is it fits comfortably (I'm a double XL) and allows me to wear it with no discomfort or chaffing. With several runs completed wearing the vest I now prefer it even if going for a short run. It has plenty of pockets for keys, phone and on occasions additional weight (5kg) wrapped in a towel. It's made well and seems robust enough for my needs, zips, toggles, and clips are well positioned and functioning correctly. So I am very impressed with my purchase and am looking to do some longer distances to see how it holds up for me. Will edit as time goes by, but if you too are a larger plodder then I highly recommend a Harrier vest.”

“Being the larger man Harrier was the only vest I could find that would fit my frame, I'm on the limit but it is a comfortable fit, could do with a additional fastening strap for my frame, but also like the elasticity of the straps that give a sense of freedom and comfort.”
