“Having purchased one of your jackets today I had the opportunity to wear it in the rain whilst on a slow steady run The run lasted 40 mins in steady rain not too heavy. The jacket felt comfortable and fairly good fit. I'm only 5ft and uk size 10 so I bought small. 1:Half way through the run the cuffs were getting very wet and and the inside of the sleeves was allowing water through. I was wearing a base layer and this was also wet by the time I arrived home. 2:The hood and across the back of the shoulders also allowed rain through and was quite damp on the inside after 40 mins 3: The front body of the jacket is also wet on the inside. 4:My phone stored in the top pocket was also damp On the whole the jacket was very disappointing for the money and didn't live up to expectations as advertised. I'm just as damp as if I'd worn my water resistant jacket purchased from Aldi for £14.99 Maybe I've just got a badly manufactured jacket that hasn't been made to your specifications. The cuffs could definitely do with velcro fastening to at least prevent rain getting through the cuffs. This jacket really needs to be returned as I'm not going to get the benefit of it in heavier rainfall or longer runs/trek Still awaiting a response from customer support. Monica Butler”

HI Monica, we have spoken about this and we think it is a one off issue with the taped seams and offered an exchnage or refund. We would appreciate you trying the new jacket because the issues you have nad are not normal. Many thanks, Kate

“Lovely waterproof jacket - withstood very wet weather this weekend. Lots of features which show it has clearly been designed by and for runners - thumb holes, secure hood, bum covering, space for running vest underneath. Very happy with another purchase from Harrier.”
