Really happy with my Exmoor jacket. Decent waterproofing and the armpit zips help keep it breathable. Lots of thoughtful features like the rear pocket and the reinforced shoulders to prevent your pack from rubbing.

Honest Review After a Year of Use – Disappointed with Waterproofing I bought the Men's Exmoor Waterproof Jacket (Large) a bit over a year ago. During my first hike with it (Orobie Trail in Italy), I experienced a day of rain and it held up reasonably well. Since then, the jacket has seen very little use — no major rain and not even a wash. However, on my recent trip on the Berliner High Trail, I was very disappointed. On the first rainy day, I got completely soaked. Even light rain seemed to penetrate the fabric. The waterproofing clearly didn’t hold up over time, despite minimal wear. While the jacket does have some nice features, I expected better quality from the materials. The zipper on the back pocket came off, and I had to reattach it and stitch it myself. Also, the armpit zippers are too short to offer any real ventilation, which made it uncomfortable in humid or active conditions. I’m sorry to leave a negative review, but this has been my honest experience. I wouldn’t recommend this jacket for serious hiking in wet conditions.

I've actually found a waterproof jacket with premium features without the eye watering price. The duel zip really lets the air in, and the press studs mean you can unzip it and its not flapping about. I've had bigger pit vents on other jackets, and was worried these were too small. However with the extra ventilation options on the jacket they're fine. Now when I discovered the bumbag trick, I was so impressed I felt I needed to write a review. This was money well spent for me. Thanks Harrier team.

It right away has become my go to lightweight jacket. I love the thumb loops such a simple idea that makes it more enjoyable and comfortable to wear. My favourite feature by far is the ability to roll it up and wear as a bum bag, no need to go looking for in a backpack or carry it if the weather better than expected just roll it up and pop it round your waist nice and discreetly. I have seen YouTuber Stephen Reid use the jacket in very bad condictions and be genuinely impressed at how it holds up. A great jacket at a very reasonable price.

Just received my Exmoor Jacket, not had chance to use it in action yet but all early signs point towards it being a quality item. Material feels great with good build quality of the jacket itself, little attention to detail wins it for me, such as the shoulder grip strips which will no doubt keep your race pack from bouncing about, plenty of storage options and the side access zip for your bottles when you wear the jacket over your race pack is a nice feature which again highlights that this jacket has been made by experienced trail runners. Jacket packs down very well in full stowage mode, not yet tried the 'bum bag' stowage as of yet but will practice that. Look forward to testing this piece of kit in action

Bought this after reading reviews and finding my other jacket not breathable enough, 1st time wearing it was on a wet 30km race with 3500ft vert, i was a bit concerned having not tried it out but had no choice and it performed better than expected. Really happy with it, great jacket at an unbelievable price

I was looking specifically for a waterproof outer layer that would meet event requirements. I’d looked at a range of options but price, reviews and a good previous purchase experience led me back to Harrier. Great fit, super light and I like the waist storage. Not used in anger yet and hoping the event in two weeks time won’t need rain protection but if it does, I’ll update this review.
