“The workshop included a practical day session which covered general skills and core skills aligned to the job role as an aesthetic skin care practitioner. Theses were the key areas I gained from my workshop session; - Interacting with other colleagues from the multidisciplinary team e.g. doctors, pharmacist, nurses, dentist -Experiential learning through facilitation from the supervised training -The importance of the patient journey by establishing a good rapport with the patient through consultation and taking a history -Following the correct protocol, policies and procedures that was evidenced based and within the guidelines -That it is important to perform a holistic patient assessment for the treatment that you are going to deliver; in this case it was microneedling and a superficial chemical peel -Giving post treatment care and follow up information Overall the core principles that are required for the job role and the correct standards that are to be maintained according to the guidelines. However this was an introductory day and as aspiring practitioner I feel that I could benefit from more practical session like these.”

We are an impartial training provider, and as such, this course is not the same as manufacturer training where by we train students on particular products and direct them where to buy them. However, we do have information packs that are given out at the end of the day that provide a good starting point for what products to purchase and where to purchase them from.
