Good afternoon, Thank you for reviewing the Injectables Foundation Day. We are sorry to hear that your experience was not what you expected. Our primary objective at Harley Academy is patient safety, and as such, we deliver practical training on the Foundation Day on high fidelity mannequins instead of live models. We don't believe it is safe to inject live patients on the first day of learning injectables, hence the reason that we use mannequin practice and live demonstration by an experienced aesthetics practitioner. This also enables you to practice multiple times, and multiple areas to perfect your injection technique safely on day one. With our new Foundation Programme, students are able to return, included within the newly increased course price, to inject their first patient under 1:1 supervision of an experienced practitioner in a real clinic setting. We believe this is an overall better student experience, to have tailored, bespoke, 1:1 practical learning for their live model practice, rather than just injecting straight away on day one in a larger group setting. “This was an extremely enjoyable day with excellent clinical teaching. The tutors are knowledgeable and very engaging, the material is beautifully presented. Careful attention is spent on crucial anatomy with practical skills and a live demonstration. I would recommend this programme to anyone.”
