“Very stylish and works beautifully until it doesn't. The 10 year guarantee is meaningless, as who keeps paperwork that long. As an expensive and top line lock, expectations were for a lifetime use. Attempts to fix it is frustrated by parts being dislodged on opening the shell case. The lower smallest spring had snapped and was not serviceable and the door would not latch closed. This spring appears poorly specified, unlike the rest of the high quality mechanism.”
