“these are the exact ones I have on my door I can't under stand why the slow close stops working when the pistons are sound. look out for another order if one lot go wrong the rest will follow.”

“The current hinge works well. I notice the internal mechanism has received an upgrade from the original Hettich hinges on my cupboard doors, which I reckon has addressed the weakness in the original design. All 16 of the originals failed the same way over three years - the soft-close failed due to the breakage of a lever arm. There have been no failures of the new type.”
