Love this shampoo. Can't wait for them to bring out the conditioner. My scalp has been less irritated since using this shampoo along with my prescription cream.

This shampoo has helped to lessen my hair thinning and also stopped the irritation and inflammation I was experiencing.

I bought Haircalma Rebalancing Shampoo as I suffer from dermatitis now and the prescription shampoos make my scalp sore. So I thought I would try this one as I have bought products from Hairmedic before and have always been very happy with them. Haircalma Rebalancing shampoo did not let me down, my scalp was always dry and itchy. it now feels less dry after the first shampoo and the more I use this shampoo the better it feels. My scalp is so much better now, so I bought two more when they were on promotion. The other good thing is I don't need to use conditioner any more. Thank you Hairmedic!!

I’ve given this five stars because it’s doing exactly what I’d hoped which is to clean my scalp without causing damage. My scalp feels so much better and the flakes have cleared up completely. It was previously very sore, red and I huge flakes Years ago I was advised by my GP to use Nizoral but this seemed quite harsh and whilst it did the job, it was only temporarily, then I’d be back to the itchy, flaky sore scalp. I’ve tried loads of products but none of them have really worked. I’m so happy I tried this. It does take a while to get used to the shampoo not foaming up, so I was using much more than I needed. I’ve only used this shampoo a handful of times but I’m starting to realise that I can use less and then I add more water to my scalp (sort of a pre-wash) then I add a few more pumps. The water helps to distribute it all over my head. Tip…read the instructions..I didn’t…It states to do this!! I feel much happier knowing that I haven’t got harmful chemicals foaming on my scalp!! The only thing that could improve this in my opinion is a larger pump nozzle. I have to pump many times to get a small amount… but that’s a small inconvenience in comparison to the healthy scalp I have now! I’ll definitely be sticking with this product.

After only 10 days use, my scalp is itching less and my hair loss seems to be lessening. My husband says the angry rash looks as though it’s fading. I’m quite happy to carry on using the Haircalma shampoo and also going to order the serum.

My hair is a mixture of wavy/curly hair and I have seborrheic dermatitis/dandruff. I have been trying this shampoo for some months and I have found that, although it doesn't create any foam, it does make my scalp feel clean and on the long run, it helps with my dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. This is a very good option for women that like to do the no poo/low poo method. I have also found that this shampoo doesn't decrease my volume at the roots, which is something that most low cleansing shampoos can lead to. I didn't see any difference on my texture, which means the shampoo removes build up from products very well. If you have curly/wavy hair I would definitely give this product a try, you might be very surprised

Followed all the instructions to use the shampoo (barring the conditioner as is not available yet) and the results were the complete opposite of what I was expecting. My scalp was a lot itchier and a lot more irritable than previously (and that was not very much!). I could not bring myself to use it again and had to cover my scalp in argan oil just to calm my scalp down before washing it the next morning with my normal shampoo it was that bad. A waste of £20 which I could have used towards my cost of living expenses.

Hello and thank you for review, we are sorry to hear the shampoo did not seem to help, however, in some circumstances the scalp may sting if your skin is broken. The shampoo is very gentle and so we would recommend to carry on using it for at least 7-10 days as this would allow the skin to repair itself. We are always happy to provide advice for our customers if they believe the product is not benefiting as in some cases the shampoo is only one part of a bigger picture for scalp health.
