“Unfortunately this is necessary for me to control my 4 year old Widex hearing aids. Newer hearing aids can be controlled by an app on smartphones. My last com-dex, the cord that goes around the neck twisted and failed, also the plastic surrounding the USB port broke. The com-dex does have a plus it that music and phone can be streamed direct to my hearing aids. I think that some remote control should be provided by Widex as part of the package. This review is in no way a bad reflection of HAB who provided this product. I believe it’s a com-dex or nothing.”
