“The microphone is advertised as something that the speaker wears around their neck or clipped onto their clothing so that the Streamer picks up the signal. It is not clear how much sound is picked up and from what distance - the implication is that it is only the wearer's voice. However, I have tried this in restaurants with a foursome by putting the microphone on the table and I have been pleased to note that it helps pick up ALL voices. Very useful. However, when my wife wears the microphone in a car with me I find the sound very echoing and not particularly comfortable. The range is good - it seems to connect far beyond the stated distance - one end of the house to the other, on different floors.”
