The split conduit opening tool simplifies fitting flexible split conduit over existing cables - opening the conduit slit cleanly so cables can be inserted without damaging the conduit or struggling with stiff slits.
How is the tool used?+
Place the conduit on the tool with the slit aligned to the blade, push the conduit through the tool - it spreads the slit open. Lay your cable into the opened conduit, then withdraw the tool, letting the conduit close around the cable.
Does this tool work with all flexible conduit?+
The tool is designed for standard flexible split conduit in common sizes. Check that your conduit slit size is compatible with the tool blade before use.
