The 7.6mm wide black cable ties have a trigger style quick release mechanism that can easily be released by hand, making these ties ideal as a temporary fastening solution.
The easy to release clip allows you to reopen these cable ties to either reuse over and over again, or reopen to allow new wires to be added to an existing bundle.

How many times can a releasable cable tie be reused?+
Releasable trigger cable ties can typically be reused 5 to 10 times before the locking mechanism begins to wear. They're ideal for prototyping, temporary fixings, and applications where you need periodic access to the cable bundle.
How does the trigger release mechanism work?+
A small lever on the head of the tie disengages the internal locking pawl when pressed, releasing the strap so it can be loosened, removed or re-positioned without needing to cut and replace the tie.
Are releasable cable ties as strong as standard one-piece ties?+
Releasable ties have a slightly lower tensile strength than equivalent one-piece nylon ties because of the moving mechanism in the head, but they are more than strong enough for the vast majority of cable management tasks.
