“The dowelling was accurate for diameter and of the 4 pieces only 2 were acceptable for
straightness, having contacted G & S the 2 pieces were replaced without question, however even these replacements were not really dead straight which was important for the project.
G & S existing stocks need to be sorted/graded.
Next time I would get longer lengths and cut out the straightest section, or ideally carry out self selection if you are local, I'm in the SE so not really practical for a small order.”
