“I've used the Sorby Pro Edge system for years and really like it. For me, the huge advantage is speed. You can get a decant edge on blades very fast. I use mine for wood chisels and turning tools, I'm told that the best edge you can get is with a whetstone, but the edge you get with a Pro Edge does the job very well, and if your using a Pro Edge, you need Pro Edge sanding belts. there are different qualities at different prices but they all work, it's just a question of how long they last.”
