A good range for a starter, purchased for husband. Had to do some secret research for this gift but was obvious from the outset Pfeil was the premium range.

“The chisels are comfortable to use, but, the straight edge and skew edge chisels were not sharpened correctly. Once rectified they are great to use.
The chip knife is OK, but the handle is not as comfortable as the chisels. Unfortunately, this was also badly sharpened.
I feel that the chip knife blade is a bit thin and flexes a bit. But, this might be due to my lack of experience with this particular tool.”
