“I am a beginner so still learning - I am very happy with the machine but my only negative comment is that changing the burner nib is very fiddly and I have not been able to get some nibs to work at all --this could be me as a beginner -- double checked I had assembled the nib correctly -- will persevere and if it is still hit and miss I will be in touch with the maker.”
“Feels a solid and quality product made of metal and not plastic should take the odd knock without sustaining damage. Appears well made nice finish, heavy. In contrast, the pen is slim and light again well constructed. In use the pen handle does not get hot, I have only used it for a couple of hours but that was continuous use. As a beginner to pyrography, I was considering a cheaper kit but glad I purchased the Peter Child machine and I would recommend to others a good quality well-made product.”

Straight out the box whilst playing with different temps I made a spare key key ring. Fantastic with more practice I will enjoy adding detail, signing pieces etc. No question after much research spend the money well worth that little extra.”
