“For £104.00 I felt it was let down by the finish. The bevels are all over the place, it’s barely sharp and there were angle grinder marks right along the top edge.
I was offered a refund but I’m going to spend a couple of hours putting bevels on it and giving it a carving edge.
This was advertised as a sculptor’s axe and it was fit for splitting kindling as delivered.
As a side note I’ve worked with timber and in sawmills for approximately twenty years and own hand forged axes.”
