“Pfiel gouges are steps above any others I’ve tried, super sharp so you don’t need to do anything but get down to carving. Strops well and holds its edge, I use the medium sized handles and they are perfect for my medium sized hands. I have used on basswood, lime, jelutong and tulipwood”
