“Bought for letter carving in wood -- almost all my lettering chisels are Pfeil and I've found them to be superb, holding an edge once established (I have to grind a slight camber on mine to aid the 'rocking' cut), even when carving a lot of really tough timber. Stubai and Ashley Iles may be their equal (?) but I doubt there are any better. A real pleasure to use.”
