“Flat lime wood. The two pieces I received have a long thin knot running the entire length of one of the faces - I only intend to carve into one large face of this wood, so the pieces are still acceptable for my use. The bigger the piece of wood, the more likely it is to have a defect, and as this is one of the biggest sizes of lime wood available, the knot is understandable.”
