Conditioner bars can work a little differently from traditional bottled conditioners, and the amount used, how it’s applied and your hair type can all affect the results. For the best experience, we recommend rubbing the bar between your hands or directly through the lengths of your hair, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends, then leaving it for a minute or two before rinsing. This helps the conditioning ingredients fully coat the hair and provide a smoother finish. “This conditioner did a good job of helping to comb through my daughter’s hair after a bath. However, her hair is fine and straight, and we found it left residue on her hair that weighed it down and made it look greasy.”

Our conditioner bars are designed to be rich and nourishing, which can sometimes feel heavier on very fine or straight hair. A tip that might help is to use a smaller amount and rinse thoroughly, or apply mainly to the ends rather than the roots.
