“It took a little while to use it to realise the effects. But keep lathering up on a sponge under a little running water and once all on leave for a minute or so then rinse in cool water... fabulous feeling. Really does cool you down and feels refreshing. Great after a hot day.”

“I didn't feel cooled by this body bar. It was quite the opposite. You know the first time you ever used the mint source shower gel? Same effect with this. Especially in your private areas which I did not directly apply to, the shower water naturally displaced it. Fresh to say the least, almost hot feeling”

“This stuff is amazing in really hot weather. I first tried it on holiday in Europe last summer, but last week (June 25) during the heatwave I used it again. It's a lovely soap with very little lather that cleans the skin very well but the peppermint and menthol in it means that when the breeze hits your skin as you get out of the shower it has a cooling effect. Using Sval before bed helped me get a good night's sleep.”

“As a peri-menopausal woman I get very hot after a shower. I get overheated and sweaty when getting dressed and drying my hair and end up feeling like I need another shower. This wash bar has been brilliant for keeping me cool while I get ready.”

“Certainly fresh and minty but is so strong the coldness continues after a shower and cold burns the skin a little. Also, if you don't like applying aftersun as a bar, instead of a liquid, it's not for you.”
